On June 16, 2010, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Service Center Operations (SCOPS) Directorate and the Office of Public Engagement (OPE) hosted a quarterly EB-5 Stakeholder Meeting. They were joined by a USCIS Economist, staff members from the Office of Policy & Strategy, and the Office of Chief Counsel, in addressing stakeholders questions and topics of interest.

The USCIS National Children’s Art Project has concluded. More than 4000 children from across the nation put their ideas on paper about the theme: “We Are America." They drew, painted, and collaged images that answered the question "People have come from all over the world to become Americans. Why does that make us great?"
On August 13, 2010, President Obama signed into law Public Law 111-230. To begin public outreach on this legislation, USCIS held a teleconference on August 19, 2010 to share how USCIS will implement it.
WASHINGTON — U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) today announced that any U.S. citizen seeking to adopt a Nepali child, whose case is not affected by the suspension of processing of adoption cases involving Nepali children claimed to have been found abandoned, should file the Form I 600, Petition to Classify an Orphan as an Immediate Relative, with the U.S. Embassy in Kathmandu, Nepal.
