U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced today that it will begin accepting H-1B petitions subject to the fiscal year (FY) 2015 cap on April 1, 2014.
The filing period for H-1B petitions subject to the fiscal year (FY) 2015 numerical cap begins on April 1, 2014. USCIS will start premium processing of cap-subject H-1B petitions, including petitions seeking an exemption for individuals with a U.S. master’s degree or higher, no later than April 28. This date is based on past levels of premium processing requests and the possibility that the cap will be met in the first five business days of the filing season.
This quarterly report shows Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker performance data for consular-processed I-140s and does not include any associated dependents. The number of cases approved are displayed by class and beneficiary country of birth. The reports are available both in comma delimited (csv) and Adobe pdf file formats.
This report contains data on H-1B petitions filed requesting a cap number (for foreign workers in specialty occupations, DOD cooperative research and development project workers, and fashion models). The number of receipts, approvals, denials, cases withdrawn and cases administratively closed or with an “other” status are displayed for fiscal years 2009 – 2012.

This report contains information on posthumous citizenship applications.
